Sunki is home!!!!

A little groggy, but that is whats to be expected when he was put under, and have doctors poking around in ones mouth.
He is on three meds (metacam, sulfa/trim, and cisapride, all banana flavor) also Critical Care.
We have to call back in the next couple of days to see if a follow up is needed.

There was more then just the trouble with his front teeth, his molars needed to be ground down, and one back tooth had to be extracted completely because it was growing toward the front of his mouth. His jaws are not lined up properly, so it appears this will be an ongoing yearly thing.

  1. I've been keeping track on Facebook and I'm very glad to know that Sunki is home safe and sound.... if a little disapproving and groggy. Now that his teeth are aligned properly I bet grinding those greens and nibbling the hay will be a real treat!

  2. Sending brave Sunki a gentle, cuddly hug, and hope his mouth feels much better soon.
All the better to eat those yummy veggies with!

  3. Hi Sunki. Hope you're feeling OK - we're glad to hear that you've been treated quick. I have had my toofers done many times and have lost a few back teeth. Its a bit horrible for the first couple of days, but picks up quickly after that. I'm sure you're getting lots of love and excellent care at your house and you'll be back on your feet in no time.

  5. So happy that he is feeling better. Now hopefully he'll get back up to a healthy bunny weight with lots of salad!
You could perhaps have an annual fundraiser if this is going to have to be a yearly thing?
