Saturday May 26th and Sunday May 27th in Toronto is called Doors Open,
it is where people can explore buildings around the city that are
usually off limits to the general public. On Saturday me and daddy went
to explore a few buildings, but were only able to do one before daddy
was wore out (he's still recovering from the illness that landed him in
hospital). But the building we went to see was a working fire station.
This station has been around since 1905, and was built at the time when
the first motorized fire trucks were coming into service.
We could have seen other buildings, but at the time daddy was getting tired, and we still had to get some groceries. Here are a few pictures from my adventure yesterday.

It was rather hot outside, so daddy put my frozen water bottle in my stroller. |

Keep watching, because the next three weekends are going to be very exciting indeed. This coming weekend we are going to be going with grandma and grandpa to a trade show for people with disabilities. The next weekend after that we are going to some Highland Games (my favorite kind of event), also with grandma and grandpa. And the weekend after that is a community festival.
I'm glad that you and your dad were able to get out to at least one building on the doors open event. I know what it's like to get fatigued and worn out after the slightest of exertion, so it's good your daddy took it easy!! Sounds like some great weekend fun coming up!!!! Rest up, make sure your daddy is eating and taking good care of himself!!!
